Milton homes, cleaned the right way.
Newer Milton subdivisions deal with aggressive efflorescence and construction-dust buildup. Our soft-wash approach lifts it without etching new brick or stone. We also cover Old Milton's century homes with the careful technique they need.
Milton's the fastest-growing city in the GTA, which means we see a lot of 2–8 year old homes alongside the established neighborhoods near Old Milton. The cleaning challenge is different in each zone, and we tailor our approach.
Milton neighborhoods we clean regularly
Dempsey — Newer mid-tier homes, lots of brick and stone, typical efflorescence work.
Beaty — Post-2005 builds. Construction dust + shingle grit in gutters. Standard soft-wash + gutter maintenance.
Willmott — Mixed ages, we do full property packages here.
Scott / Harrison — Newest builds, first-clean homes. We often do the "new build prep" package — efflorescence pre-treat + gentle first soft-wash.
Ford / Coates — Similar profile to Harrison. Brand new engineered siding, fresh interlock.
Old Milton — Pre-1960 homes with heritage considerations. Soft-wash + hand-brush technique for the original stonework and wood elements.
Timberlea / Bronte Meadows — Mid-century, established landscaping. Typical pressure-wash + window + gutter bundle.
The new-build problem: efflorescence
If you bought a Milton home in the last 2–3 years, you've probably seen white powder on the brick or interlock. That's efflorescence — mineral deposits pushed out as the new concrete and mortar cures. Left alone, it fades over 5–7 years. Accelerated treatment with a mild acid wash (muriatic at 1:10) lifts most of it in one visit.
We quote this explicitly for new-build homes because pretending a standard pressure wash will handle it sets up disappointment.
Construction-dust cleanup
Every new neighborhood in Milton deals with construction dust on siding and driveway from adjacent building activity. Our soft-wash with biodegradable detergent lifts it without damaging the still-curing materials. Best timing: 12–18 months after move-in, then annual.

Recent reviews from local customers.
“The driveway looks ten years younger. They re-sanded the joints and sealed it — no more weeds popping up. Will re-book in 5 years.”
“New-build neighborhood, lots of shingle grit. They flushed everything, photographed it, and I could actually see the difference.”
“Fresh construction dust on our brand new brick. They pre-treated for efflorescence and soft-washed. Results were immediate.”
“Century home with old wood sashes. They were careful around the original trim and didn't leave a mess. I'll re-book.”
Common questions for Milton homeowners.
Efflorescence is the white mineral deposit that forms on new concrete, brick, and interlock as water pushes calcium to the surface. New-build homes in Milton often show it within the first 2 years. Treatment is a mild acid wash (muriatic at 1:10) before the main clean — not a standard pressure wash. We quote this specifically when we see it.
Yes — Dempsey, Beaty, Willmott, Scott, Harrison, Ford, Coates, and Old Milton. The newer developments out by 401 and Derry we cover too.
Yes. Newer engineered siding needs a very specific cleaner and pressure. We also see more construction dust and efflorescence than on older homes. Don't book a standard pressure wash in year 1–2 — book a "new build prep" package that includes the pre-treat. (We'll assess and tell you.)
Pressure washing, exterior windows, and interlock work run April through mid-November. Gutters run into early December. Interior windows year-round.
Same-week during most of the season. April–May and October book out to 2–3 weeks. Holiday/seasonal prep (November) is busy but we try to keep slots.
