We collect the minimum we need to quote and deliver service, we don't sell it, and we respect your rights under PIPEDA. This page explains the details.

Ontario Exterior Cleaning Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates ontarioexteriorcleaning.ca. This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under Canadian privacy law.
We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Ontario's consumer protection legislation.

- Contact information — name, email, phone number, property address
- Quote request details — service type, property specifics, preferred dates
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we don't store card numbers ourselves
- Communications — email and SMS records with us
- Website analytics — anonymous page-view data via Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (IP-anonymized)

- To schedule and coordinate work at your property
- To send invoices and process payments
- To provide customer support

- To contact you about seasonal service reminders (opt-in)
Who we share it with
Never sold. We never sell, rent, or lease your personal information.
Shared only with:
- Our direct employees (technicians, office staff, owners)
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Resend — for transactional emails (quote confirmations, invoices)
- Cloudflare — for website hosting and spam/bot protection
- Government authorities when required by law (subpoena, court order)
How long we keep it
- Active customer records: for the duration of our relationship plus 7 years (CRA record-keeping requirements)
- Unconverted quote requests: 18 months
- Website analytics: 26 months (Google Analytics 4 default)
- Email records: 3 years for business continuity
Your rights under PIPEDA
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct — request corrections to inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent — opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Complain — to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca

- Cloudflare — for security and performance

We do not use cross-site tracking cookies. We do not serve targeted advertising.
Security
- HTTPS everywhere (TLS 1.3)
- Payment data handled only by PCI-compliant Stripe (we never store card numbers)
- Employee access limited to the minimum required for their role
- Regular security reviews
Children
Our services are for homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Updates
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced via email to active customers and posted on this page with an updated "effective date."
